Virginia man sheds 80 pounds eating at McDonald’s

A Virginia man lost about 80 pounds in six months by eating nearly every meal at McDonald’s.

Not Big Macs, french fries and chocolate shakes. Mostly salads, wraps and apple dippers without the caramel sauce.

Chris Coleson tipped the scales at 278 pounds in December. The 5-foot-8 Coleson now weighs 199 pounds and his waist size has dropped from 50 to 36.

If only it did involve Big Macs. That’s a diet I could get behind.

  1. I actually like McDonalds salads a lot. They have several options that are different from the standard salad fare at a lot of other fast food places.

    Wendy’s also has some good salad and sandwich options. I love that I can swap the empty calories from fries out for a healthier side salad, even if I do go with some sort of burger.
