Joe Eszterhas on his conversion

Why did God save the life of a man who had trashed, lampooned, and marginalized Him most of his life? Why did He take the time and the trouble to save me? 1. I had not heard of Joe Eszterhas’s conversion. God be praised! Deo gratias! That man irritated me for years. I would read interviews in which he affably justified his sleazy writing when he seemed to be so transparently caught up in Hollywood dream fever. What a waste of talent, I thought.

How merciful is our God to sinners like ourselves! I rejoice.
